The design of Lago armchair arises from the desire to bring the shapes of nature into the home. The inspiration comes from aquatic biomes, which are made up of lakes, rivers, and seas. Lago is the Portuguese word for "lake".

 

The armchair features a molded plywood shell covered on the outside and a wooden base. It has an ample back and seat and curved arms, which suggest the involvement and fluidity of water movement.
